About

Roosevelt, formerly Roosevelt Middle School, opened as an elementary school in September 2007. Located on the eastern side of Port Angeles, it is the largest elementary school and houses kindergarten through sixth grade classrooms, as well as special education classrooms. Roosevelt’s approach to student achievement is caring and nurturing, yet data-driven with a problem-solving “No Excuses” foundation.

To create and follow a system of accountability for curriculum delivery and assessment that insures all students have received the instruction and support needed to achieve our mission.

Mission
We strive to provide all students with essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes in building the foundation for productive membership in society.

Beliefs 
We believe all children can learn and will reach the high standards set for them when provided with appropriate curriculum delivered through effective strategies by skilled teachers within a caring environment.
