My Philosophy

As a school counselor, my philosophy is that all children have the right to a educationally rich environment within a school setting which empowers them with the academic, career and personal and social skills they need to reach their full potential.

Vision

My vision for the Roosevelt Elementary School Counseling program is to empower all students to reach their potential by using a comprehensive program that addresses academic achievement and personal/social skills, students need to reach their future educational and career goals. 

What does a school counselor do?

The Roosevelt Elementary comprehensive school counseling program implements developmentally appropriate activities and provides prevention and intervention services that address the academic, career, social, and personal needs of children.
